YUKIHIME pearls are all untoned and selected one by one courteously by the shape, thickness of nacreous layer, luster and so on. Untoned pearls, means they are not treated with red dye and the pearl farmers stick to untoned pearls so that we can enjoy the original beauty of pearls.
The natural beauty is highly significant for YUKIHIME pearls, so they can be used for a long time without colour fading.

Hirado, YUKIHIME's origin

Saikai National Park is located in west-north Kyusyu in Japan, and it is famous for its ocean view with more than 400 large and small islands. Since a large bed in shallow sea area and tidal flat in inner part of the bay had been developed, they became a cradle for rare creatures and various ecosystems. YUKIHIME pearls are cultured in such a nature-rich sea.
